studio G Challenge Time SGC5 - Easter Treat

This treat bag is for my hubby, filled with Reese's peanut butter cup - that is one of his favs. I tried to do a few challenges in one project :). One is from Paper Craft Planet Studio G Collectors group where Marti challenged us to use the studio G stamps on an Easter Treat bag/box/etc. I combined that challenge with The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge #25 - Easter Treat Containers where Nilda challenged us to use our Cuttlebug folders on our treat container, in my case this cute little bag.

This CUTE little bag is actually more known as a bag in a box, and the cut file for this was created by a fellow Cricut Message board member, Camille who did a fabulous job at recreating this popular bag for us Cricut lovers. If you need an idea on how to fold one, go to Inking Addict blog post where Paula explains how to create one from scratch.

I used skittles acrylic dots to accent the bag. I used by Swiss Dots to emboss the bunny frame. I used Decorative Stars folder (4 in a pack) to create the stars and mimic the DCWV PP, then cut those out by hand and used foam tape to make them pop out. I also used my Cricut to create the bunny frame out of a circle welded with the bunny from Doodlecharm (the blackout shape alone was not quite the shape that I wanted, so I adapted it with a simple circle). The images are studio G; LOVE collecting these and now I'm intent on using them with the help of challenges like this one!!!

Other challenges that I kept in mind were the Creative Inspirations Challenge Blog, where we were to use YELLOW and GREEN and the Stamp Something blog challenge of using as many shapes as I could get away with - I figured STARS, CIRCLES, BUNNY SHAPE :), and SCALLOP was as far as I was going to get without making it look too busy! :) Just had fun and that what this is all about for me!

Supplies:
bag in a box - cut using Camille's cut file from her Cricut Message Board post
Bag in a Box with EDITED cut file
